I did Pilates for about 2 years with a number of different Pilates instructors, then recently picked it up after a 3 year hiatus. It's now been about 6 months since I started working with Sandy and she is without a doubt the best instructor I have ever had. Not only am I seeing real results, but I am having a lot of fun.
Sandy is very focused on learning your goals and helping you achieve them. My goals were to lose about 10 pounds and get stronger. She has helped me in both areas - I've lost the weight and am developing a lot of muscle tone. My core is much stronger, and I can actually imagine having a firm stomach.
Sandy's sessions are always planned in advance so that no two sessions are the same. I am never bored, but always challenged. Sandy's knowledge of Pilates and the human body is impressive, as is her dedication to making sure that you are getting what you want from your sessions.

I am 55 and started working with Sandy Endo two years ago prior to surgery (hysterectomy). I wanted to go into the procedure strong and recover stronger. I also have issues with my hip. We have used Pilates methods to improve my core strength and she has taught me how to achieve full body strength and proper alignment that has pretty much changed my life. Sandy knows her stuff, but what I appreciate most is her caring manner, gentle encouragement, and humor. I know that she is really listening to me, carefully observing my body, meeting me where I am each session, and expertly guiding me toward my goals. I can't recommend her highly enough.

I have always enjoyed exercise (I'm not a hard-core athlete), but had never worked with a pilates instructor/personal trainer. I have been working with Sandy for 2 years and love our weekly sessions. Sandy is an encouraging instructor, she pushes me out of my comfort zone, but is very aware of any limitations I may have with specific exercises. My workout with Sandy is never routine, she is constantly cueing me on new exercises, which continues to keep me motivated.
